Performances

BCOS is a musical performing society with a difference: we rehearse and present works from both the choral and staged musical/operetta disciplines.

Each year we perform:

  • A staged musical production

  • A major choral work

  • Alternating each year a Summer concert and Christmas carol concert

Our concerts are normally presented in St Edburg's Church, and the staged production is at The Cooper School, Bicester.

Our members

Our membership is made up of music and theatre lovers from all backgrounds and walks of life aged 16+.

Our members are generally based in or around Bicester, but we also have members from as far away as Witney and Rugby.

As we perform so many different styles and types of music, some members perform with us year round, while others join us when the feeling takes them! There is no requirement to take part in every show or concert.

As such BCOS has over 50 regular performers and a membership of over 100.
